Dear teachers and students:
Morning,everyone!
Although it has been at least 4 days, I still can’t help immersing myself in the excellent show performed by the students of our grade. And my class teacher told us that the show of Senior 2 was so fantastic that she laughs every time when she thinks of it. It also makes me so much eager to looking forward to the ultimate show on this Thursday night. I’m pretty sure that our fabulous performance will end the 2nd English Festival of English School with a memorable legend!
At the same time, I’m so proud of my classmates. It’s their efforts and devotions that made our class the champion in our grade. As an actress of the show in our class, it’s my great honor to be here, representing our team to share our ideas and feelings about the show.
I don’t know why there are so many students in our class having a gift for music and I don’t know why that I’m not one of them. No matter what difficulties lay ahead, we made our mind to choose to act a Broadway musical called ‘Avenue Q’. So with no doubt, it’s a great challenge for me to present myself by singing. But I’m willing to take the risk because I know that the more challenging something is, the more I can learn from it.
For example, last Tuesday became a day that I will never forget. Because of my poor sense of rhythm, all other actors and actresses in our class stayed with me to help me to solve the problem with great patience. We didn’t leave until very late that night. The next morning, Jessica, our director woke me up at 6:30 and practiced with me until the first lesson began. When we finally got on stage and it came to my turn, they all sang with me in order to help me with catching the rhythm. Well, I have to say that my appreciation is much more than you can imagine!
Before preparing for the show, I didn’t even know that we had so much time to use everyday and we caught every single second we can to practice, practice and practice. And I didn’t even know that we could be so energetic that we could not only finish our daily homework in time but also spent more than 4 hours practicing per day…
We all tried our very best to make every single aspect of our play flawless. After countless hours of practicing, we finally caught sight of people clapping their hands for us because they really like our acting… I knew all our efforts were worthwhile. We sacrificed so much, and we gained so much.
With hard work, nobody in our class complains. Because we all know that this is the time for us to do something for the honor of our class. This kind of feeling made us get together and cooperate well.
With no doubt, this show was a great success for our class. If you ask me what the key to our success is, I will tell you that it is love. It’s the love that our class teacher gave us. It’s the love that we gave our class.
It’s kind of feeling that you can do anything for the team. This is love. And this is our key to success.
At last, I still want to say thank you.
Thank you everyone who have supported us, it is you who made it happen!
And with you holding our back. We can for sure reach further!
Thank you!
